The 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards are just around the corner. There are new faces in the mix. Beyond the Gatethe first new broadcast network soap opera in decades, has officially received 15 nominations.

Date and Location
The 53rd annual event is scheduled for October 30 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. This is the first time the Daytime Emmy Awards will be held in a specific location. Recent events were held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.

Gold and Silver Circle Inductees
On October 8, NATAS announced this year’s Gold Circle and Silver Circle inductees, recognizing 50 and 25 years of contributions to the television industry, respectively. The six inductees who will receive prestigious recognition at an awards ceremony on October 30 are:

- byron allen (Gold — Founder, Chairman and CEO of Allen Media Group)
- Patrica Darbo (Gold — Famous Actor days of our lives and bold and beautiful)

- stephen brown (Silver — EVP Programming and Development, Fox Television Stations)
- Rubin Irvin (Silver — Announcer / Warm-up Host family feud, bachelor’s degreeand more)

This year’s awards ceremony will not be broadcast on linear television, but can be streamed through The Emmys app or the official NATAS website.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Daytime Emmy Award Winner Genie Francis (general hospital2007) received this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award. The honor comes as the actress will soon celebrate 50 years since her daytime TV debut. GHIts first appearance was in 1977.
