It’s over now folks. Today, we can say hello to the 2026 New York Film Festival. Moreover, with one more exception, we’re almost done with this year’s film festival. This has really allowed me to get used to my own bed. (Yes, I sleep at home during NYFF.) Listen, I was so tired! Every year, the 64th NYFF presents quality and diverse shows without exception. Now that the book about the festival is out, it’s time to share all my final thoughts with you. As always, at the end of the festival we commemorate the festival by awarding ourselves prizes or prizes and conveying our overall feelings. Today will certainly be no exception!
Once again this year, we were lucky enough to see several NYFF titles that had garnered attention at previous festivals. So while the Telluride Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival did the heavy lifting for me, the Big Apple still had a lot of big movies that I saw. It was highlighted as follows: 14 days, artificial, behemoth!, Godzilla minus zeroand paper tiger.
Below you can see the various NYFF highlights I found. I’ll include the best movies and performances, as well as an overall ranking of what I’ve seen. Well, why not take a look now? See the best of the festival…

I’ve already seen something like this: club kid, debut, fjord, New York’s only living pickpocketand tender loving care Set it aside from previous festivals. Still, I saw it before you can see everything And since it’s the best thing about this year’s NYFF, it deserves at least some special praise.
