Netflix released a teaser trailer for director Greta Gerwig’s ‘Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew’. This marks the largest advance among Netflix’s theatrical releases.
Although the sixth book has been published, “The Sorcerer’s Nephew” is chronologically the first story in C.S. Lewis’s “Chronicles of Narnia” book series. It is a multiverse story that witnesses the birth of Narnia and the Wardrobe.
Daniel Craig plays Uncle Andrew, the story’s eponymous magician. He spent his life tinkering with magical objects and artifacts.
As a result, the lives of his young nephew Digory (David McKenna) and neighbor Polly (Beatrice Campbell) change.
Two friends touch a magic ring and are transported to another world. They also accidentally release an evil wizard from his enchanted sleep. Hungry for ultimate power, she is determined to destroy everyone and every world in her path.
Co-starring Emma Mackey, Carey Mulligan and Ciarán Hinds, ‘Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew’ will be released in cinemas on February 12, 2027, and on Netflix on April 2, 2027.
