Appearing on an episode of The Rich Eisen Show, Driver confirmed to the host that he will play Otis Wardell in Mann’s upcoming sequel to the 1995 crime film. Told across multiple time periods, Heat 2 serves as both a prequel and sequel to the original film, with Driver’s Wardell character serving as the main antagonist. “I guess you could say that, but we’ll find out soon,” Driver joked, without confirming his role.
