This week there’s a little competition to see who is the most annoying character in two controversial new movies. Obviously, the main qualification for running for that honor is having at least $1 billion somewhere. Cinema Recall’s host and guest The Vern were eliminated from the competition.
There are two opinions about “Digger,” and they vary in how much you can get without people yelling at each other (which, by the way, is in the movie). The biggest bombshell of Tom Cruise’s career has come under scrutiny, and no one has been shy about sharing their views on the film.
Another film, ‘The Social Reckoning’, is less divisive but has caused some disagreement on social media, although there is general agreement on the film’s quality. We got into the weeds a little bit about free speech and the need for guardrails.
